Advisor Agreement Form

I agree to serve as the advisor to the aforementioned Club for the current academic year. In this, I agree to the following:

Serve as a resource and contact for all members of the club/organization.
Regularly meet with the officers of the club/organization.
Attend at least three general membership meetings each semester.
Attend all events, programs or trips that require College supervision.
Inform the club/organization of important College news and developments.
Familiarize him/herself with College and Student Senate Policy as outlined in the
Student Handbook and Club Resource Manual.
Maintain communication with the Center for Student Involvement.
Attend club events and trips as required by College policy.
Offer advice, but allow the students to make final decisions and control their club.

I have discussed my expectations with the club president and they are aware of the need to do the following:

Keep the Advisor informed of all plans, concerns and activities.
Provide the Advisor with copies of all correspondence.
Invite the Advisor to all events and activities.
Make all financial transaction documentation available to the Advisor and ensure the Advisor’s signature is on all vouchers (check requests).
Plan officer meetings in consideration of the Advisor’s schedule.
Consider the advice and counsel of the Advisor in making decisions.

Grade Verifcation

I hereby certify that the following club/organization officers are currently enrolled credit students and they have a current and cumulative grade point average of a 2.0 or higher as required by the constitution and the CSI office. By siging this form, I confirm that I have checked enrollment status and I have checked their grade point average so that the student can hold an officer position.
